Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's June 2026 Visit to Korea: Confirmed Schedule and Agreements

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang visited South Korea for four days, from June 5 to June 8, 2026. He said the purpose of the trip was to strengthen cooperation with Nvidia's AI partner companies.

June 5: Day of Arrival

Huang arrived by private jet at the Seoul Gimpo Business Aviation Center on the afternoon of June 5. His first stop was a PC gaming café in Seoul's Hongdae district run by the esports organization T1, where he met the professional League of Legends player Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok. That evening he had dinner at a Korean barbecue restaurant with Korean business leaders including SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver board chair Lee Hae-jin.

June 8: Meeting with Samsung Electronics

On June 8, the final day of the visit, Huang attended Nvidia's "Korea AI Ecosystem" event at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul and then met Jun Young-hyun, Vice Chairman and head of Samsung Electronics' Device Solutions division. They discussed the near-term need for sufficient supply of HBM4 — the sixth-generation HBM — and SOCAMM, as well as longer-term cooperation on next-generation AI memory such as HBM4E and HBM5, and on foundry work. After the meeting, Jun told reporters that although he had worked with Huang for a long time, that day's conversation had been the best one yet.

SK Group was reported to have been positioned as Nvidia's "AI infrastructure partner" following the visit.

Summary

What was publicly confirmed during the visit is the schedule above and the cooperation talks with Samsung and SK. The specific terms and the scale of any contracts were not disclosed, so this article does not describe them.
